Blog 41

So today I was supposed to have four classes, but upon looking at our English syllabus I discovered that we didn't have class today!  So I figured that with this new found time that was given to me I would take the time to write my blog, start thinking about my commonplace draft, and then actually eat lunch for once!  I never really have time to eat lunch because all my classes are back to back everyday.  It was a nice change of pace and I wasn't hungry for about five hours straight.  So what I have planned for the rest of my day is that I am going to write this commonplace draft, write two lab reports for chemistry, do my pre lab assignment for chemistry, and then maybe hang out a little bit before bed.  I don't know how much free time I will have exactly.  Oh well.  One thing that I am getting really excited about is the new Harry Potter movie that is coming out on November 19th.  I have been a huge Harry Potter fan ever since the first book came out.  I have read all seven of the books multiple times.  I mean I have read all of them at least five times.  I know its pretty insane and you would probably be justified in calling me a loser, but I can't help it. On the bright side, I don't dress up to go to the book or movie premieres.  That seems a little over the top for me, unless you are doing it as a joke.  Then it is kind of funny.  Anyways, I already have my ticket pre ordered for when the movie comes out.  Should be exciting.

  2. Okay, that is a pretty wild schedule. I went to the last Harry Potter movie at the midnight showing, and I hate to admit that I fell asleep! Guess what! You really need to have seen the other movies to get what is going on! I was always kind of afraid of the stuff that went on in the books when they first came out, but it seems like I was pretty young. Weren't we? Enjoy the movie!

  4. Also, Leeann, yeah you do kind of need to see all the movies to understand what is going on in the latest one and it definitely doesn't help if you fall asleep. The best way to understand what is going on is if you read the books! Hopefully you won't still be scared of them haha.

  5. I'm really excited for the new Harry Potter movie. I was actually in London when the last book came out and went to get it at midnight. I really do agree that the books are way better.

  6. Yeah, the books are amazing. That is awesome that you were in London at that period of time. I wish I could go there. I have never been overseas or out of the country. I am going overseas this upcoming summer though.

  7. I was actually born in Scotland, but both my parents are London natives. We go back twice a year to visit family, and the trips just happened to line up this time around.

  8. That is awesome. That is my number 1 place that I would like to visit right now if I could go anywhere in the world. Well, maybe second. Italy might rank higher than London.

  9. I happen to have been to Italy too! I went to Venice and another small city because of one of my Dad's job interviews. I would definitely prefer Italy, but that may just be because I've been to London at least 15 times.

  10. Wow I am really jealous. I would really like to visit the Vatican. Not because I am religious or anything but because of the history and the majesty of the place. It would be very interesting.

  11. I've been lucky to get to travel the world as much as I have and still be in high school. I look forward to trying to travel without parents more, even if its just around the United States.

  12. Yeah, that is my plan too. Once I am older in the next few decades I would love to have been able to travel all around the world. I especially would like to do this when I retire. Obviously its far in the future but its nice to think about being able to do that.

  13. I would encourage you to do it earlier rather than later. Try to do a study abroad program or something fun like that. It really is more fun than you can imagine to go somewhere new.

  14. Yeah I would love to do a study abroad. However, paying for it is an issue. Especially since I plan on going to medical school after my undergrad. As you know that can get crazy expensive.
