Blog 40

So I am writing this blog one day late.  So yesterday I only had 2 classes.  I had my math lecture and I also had my chemistry lab.  Math lecture was the same old thing, just on a different day.  Chemistry lab was pretty hectic though.  I had to miss one day of lab due to family issues earlier in the quarter so I was a lab behind.  Also, I had to finish a lab from the week before.  By the end of the lab, I had finished three labs and was totally caught up.  It ended up working out.  Once lab was over I came back to my house and my roommates had set up a little wrestling pit in our living room.  So for about an hour we held wrestling matches in our living room, ufc style.  I had two matches, the first one I won by choking out one of my roommates, and the second match I won by an arm bar.  All in all it was a pretty successful day.  I also did three sections of math homework and also an entire chapter of engineering.  Also, the Giants ended up winning the World Series.  This wasn't the best part of my day.  The Reds didn't make the world series so I wanted either the Phillies or the Yankees to win it. However, the Rangers and the Giants made it to the World Series so I was rooting for the Rangers.  Unfortunately, the Giants won four games to one and it was a pretty uneventful series.  Oh well,  at least I only have to wait until April 2011 to watch my Reds again.

  1. I got your email on my BlackBerry and the commonplace draft isn't due until Thursday. And you don't submit it in Carmen, bring a hard copy to class on Thursday. But ugh yeah Chem is a pain! I took Chem 121 last winter and it was the worst class ever (at least I thought)!

  2. Thanks for the help! Yeah, chem is a lot of work. The material hasn't been too difficult, but like I said, it is just so much busy work and a lot of it is unnecessary and I feel like I don't really learn anything from it.

  4. So if it was UFC style, was there blood and stuff too? Glad to read Maria's comment, I will be sure to print the paper. Couldn't figure out how she wanted that draft. Thanks!

  5. No it wasn't that hardcore. That would be stupid and I really don't want my face all bloodied up.

  6. I was also dissapointed with the world series, probably the most boring world series since I started following baseball.

  7. Yeah I agree. It just didn't live up to the previous few years in terms of the World Series tension. Oh well, there is always next year, which is the good thing.

  8. It seems like its usually just me as a Cleveland sports fan that gets to say "we always have next year", but now everyone in the country except San Francisco gets a taste of dissapointment.

  9. Yeah. I was super excited this year too because I am a Reds fan so this postseason was extra important to me. As you know, it didn't work out.

  10. Yeah! The Reds were doing so well but then they just got run over in the first round. At least they're better than the Indians!

  11. Yeah this is true. The Indians could be amazing if they were willing to trade all the great players they have had in the last 10 to 15 years. They have had Cliff Lee, C.C Sabathia, Victor Martinez, Manny Ramirez, Grady Sizemore, among many others.

  12. It seems like we always produce players in every sport who go on to do incredible things once they leave Cleveland. Braylon Edwards of the New York Jets is incredible for the Jets, but when he played for Cleveland he dropped SO many balls. Cliff Lee is probably the best pitcher in the MLB, and I can't explain why we let him go.
